Giving Back

At M&T we are always open to ideas on how we can give back to our community. This year we offered 5 Graduates a Photo-shoot including Hair & Makeup. If you have an idea to share with us and think it would be great to contribute. Please don’t hesitate to send us an email!

Blow Dry Bootcamp

We all love it when we leave the hair salon and get this fabulous blow out . We would love our hairstylist to come home with us and style our hair. I hear that all the time from my clients! Well this is when “BDB” comes into play. Let us teach you our professional techniques . Come alone or gather your girl friends

You will learn

• proper tools needed for your hair type

• how to position your brush and blow-dryer to receive maximum volume and body or to remove volume and get smooth hair.

• how products help achieve your look and what products you will most benefit with.

 When you work in the Beauty Industry, whether you are the model, hairdresser, makeup artist or photographer you have to be open to constructive criticism. Be open to learning and stay humble. Everyone in that room has a creative eye, and at times because of their experience or vision can see something you didn't. Having been in the industry for over 10yrs and working bts for photoshoots, NY fashion week and live shows I have learned a lot. My daughter Alyssa has always loved acting, and singing. Performing is her thing! This year she was signed to the Neal Hamil model agency in Houston, Texas. This is definitely a new beginning for the both of us. My role as a Hairstylist on set is now Mom/Hairstylist and at times just mom. This will be interesting. I wish my daughter the best of luck with wherever the future leads her. All I can do is guide her and use my knowledge to insure the best decisions are made.
