"New to Me" Teen pop - up

Started off the year with a fun and giving event to our teens in Houston.

The purpose of this event was to give a boost of confidence to our youth with starting the New Year! This event was for every teen, no qualifications needed. When we think of confidence and feeling good about yourself, we all can use that. We wanted to offer a day of self care and love. Having the expeirence of getting your hair done at a salon and talking about yourself. A lot of teens struggle with having someone to talk to. Our clients, friends and family donated gently used clothes, shoes and accessories. The stylist gave out free haircuts (valued at $75-$90). A full service experience with a shampoo and finishing with a blowout. All for free to them.

Teens enjoyed a day of shopping and getting a fresh cut and style to start the new year with! Thank you all who donated and attended! - M&T

At M&T we are always open to ideas on how we can give back to our community. This year we offered 5 Graduates a Photo-shoot including Hair & Makeup. If you have an idea to share with us and think it would be great to contribute. Please don’t hesitate to send us an email!

Blow Dry Bootcamp

We all love it when we leave the hair salon and get this fabulous blow out . We would love our hairstylist to come home with us and style our hair. I hear that all the time from my clients! Well this is when “BDB” comes into play. Let us teach you our professional techniques . Come alone or gather your girl friends

• how to position your brush and blow-dryer to receive maximum volume and body or to remove volume and get smooth hair.

New York Editorial shoot

New York in September. What an amazing 5 days for Lauren and I. One of our best moments is shooting with the fabulous French model Romane and the talented photographer Anna Bazhanova. Of course Lauren Garcia on makeup and myself on hair. Shooting around Manhattan was an adventure on its own. Romane is a true model and I was amazed at the way she worked the camera. As we walked past the crowds of people walking the blocks of New York, people couldn't help but to stare at our beautiful model. Anna has an eye for location and putting a story together in each of her shots. All in all we made a great team that day and happy to say our shoot was featured in Lucy's Magazine. Here you will see some of our work from that beautiful Friday afternoon. Enjoy,
